TruBiotics™ from the makers of One A Day® is a new supplement which comes in a unique canister designed to ‘safeguard the live and active probiotics’ within each container. The product is marketed as a daily probiotic supplement and includes two separate strains of bacteria (Lactobacillus acidophilus LA-5® and Bifidobacterium animalis BB-12®) at a potency of 1.5 billion cells. Human studies have shown that LA-5® and BB-12® have a beneficial effect within gastrointestinal health

TruBiotics™ is made in Denmark and contains milk as stated on the ingredient list. Those with lactose intolerance issues should not use this supplement. The manufacturer suggests that adults and children over 3 years take one capsule daily with a meal and that the supplement be stored at room temperature, avoiding excessive heat so as to retain bacteria potency.

*This supplement…I was told by my physician to start taking a probiotic because of my gastric bypass and my history of diverticulitis. After purchasing these I have noticed that the capsules seem to fall apart by cracking, and producing holes in the capsules, leaving the product that is suppose to be inside all over the bottom of the bottle. My first bottle I ended up with 9 capsules do this. After opening the 2nd bottle I have found 4 capsules so far. I have contacted the company that makes these to see what they will do about my purchases

*I like this supplement…I’ve been using probiotic supplements for five years now and have tested several different brands. Of course there are many factors for why my stomach would feel a certain way, but using this for the first time didn’t seem to make any real noticeable improvements, at least not like others I have tried. I was looking at the back of the label and it seems that their quantity of bacteria is much less than other probiotics. I Don’t think I’ll use this brand again. Not Happy Jill A.

*This Supplement works great But…If i am paying $20 for 30 pills of this great medication… I am a little discouraged when I open the container and see that there are several broken capsules in the bottle… I am not the type of person to lick up the loose power which is left contained in these capsules. It has been a real life changer for me but I hope when purchasing this product I don’t always wind up with broken capsules.
